30)And Cornelius said, four days ago, I was fasting until this hour, and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold,a man stood before me in bright clothing.
31)And said, Cornelius, thy prayers is heard, and thy alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32)Send therefore, to Joppa and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter. He is lodged in the house of Simon a tanner by the sea side. Who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
33)Immediately therefore, I sent to thee, and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here pressent before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
34)Then Peter opened his mouth and said.Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.
35)But in every nation he that fearerh Him,and worketh righteousness is accepted with Him.
I sincerely want to assure you that God himself, in His infinite mercy, do not show favoritism, who ever you are, and what ever you are. Even if your father is a pope or a pastor, or A bishop, Apostle,a Prophet or you are born in the Church, you have no special treatment before God, only those who do the will God in their life,whoever you are, if you fear God He will favor you as his own child, and this is applicable to anyone who fear him. From our passage today, we saw a man named Cornelius, who is a gentile, but he fears God and prays always and give alms, despite that he is not a Jew but God answer his prayers and order peter the Disciple of Jesus Christ to go and pray for him. knowingfully well that Jews do not meet with gentiles but before God they are one as far as they do His will. And God said to peter do not call what I Call holly unholy, and peter understands that God is not a respecter of men. Even if you are a Fulani or Hausa or Baribari, if you have Jesus as your personal Lord and savior, you are important before God. By right, peter doesn’t suppose to go to Cornelius because it is an abomination, but since God Himself declear Cornelius holy who is peter to call him unholy. If you do the will of God and God accepted you, who is man to disqualify you?Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one goes to the father (God)except through Him. If you have Jesus you are save, if you do not have Jesus Christ, hell fire await you. Repent now and make Jesus your personal Lord and savior and make your name be written in the book of life.
